Woke up at 5.30am and traveled to Kings Cross St Pancras train station. Ended up reaching at 8.15am for the 9am train. Meanwhile bought pasties for breakfast..haha. Interesting pasties..its sth like enlarged curry puff but they have all kinds of flavour inside like cheese and bacon, mushroom cheese, chicken bacon etc. Also bought Burger King for breakfast..

Boarded the train to Paris but oops.. some passengers alerted us that we boarded the wrong coach.. we went to coach B when its suppose to be coach D. Took this express train to Edinburgh and the whole journey is 4.5hr! Its eating, slping, listening to mp3, chit chatting time on the long long journey. Along the way of cos I totally enjoyed the scenery! Passing through outskirts to cities like New Castle, Donchester etc. I love the patches of greeneries and yellow canollas..and not to forget the sheeps, the cows, the horses etc etc….There were 8 stops before finaly reaching Edinburgh.

At Edinburgh, took cab to 27 Castle Terrace, our rented apartment. Stayed in the top storey 5^th floor but there are no lift! Gotta climb the stairs. But thank god its worth the climb cos of the beautiful apartment and gorgeous outside-the-window scenery!

Greeted by the agent upon reaching the apartment. She introduced us to the equipment and collected the rent..haha. hmm..mus say tht this apartment is fully equipped! In the kitchen there’s pots and pans, plates, knifes, many wine glasses ready to use for a party, packets of coffee and tea, packets of shortbread ( famous cookies in Scotland)…in the bedroom 5 sets of bath towels and face towels were prepared for us, nicely folded with a treat of a sweet folded inside each set of towels….in the living room Huge flat screen TV, sofas with foldable leg rest, DVDs, CDs, Storybooks, even binoculars!  Oh and the design! The living is so gorgeous! Very English style..at the dining table, can enjoy the view of the castle on the hill and the busy “pasir malam” downstairs in the morning..even can enjoy the castle view in our bedrooms!

Well, we cooked lunch (erm..self brought magi mee..hee) and ate it in this European atmosphere..so special! Wonderful experience!

Then we walked to the tour agency to pay for tml’s Highland trip.

Hmm went to the toilet at the train station at guess what..it actually cost 30pence (90cents) haha. Never been to such expensive public toilets..haha.

Then we continued walking around, exploring Edinburgh..saw the castle and the palace as we walked down Royal Mile..

Went to Climb this hill…eh the name slipped my mind…anw its a beautiful park…gotta walk a super duper long route before reaching the hill…but the breathtaking scenery on top is worth the walk! Haha..this is where I saw the “F4”+”shan cai”..hee. There are also remains of what look like an ancient building up the hill.. 

Finally it’s the walk downhill before settling for dinner at a bar. Hmm this bar only allow ppl above age 18 to enter..so I dun dare to go order food in case they think I’m underaged.hee. Cos can you believe it? The last time sis came wif her friends, they wanted to check her IC?!! (btw my sis is alr 27 then..hahaha. they say Chinese look young..make sis so happy to let them check..hee.) Anw we finally tasted the English Fish and Chip (sth UK is famous for), also tried sausage and chip, and tried their onion ring (hmm..their onion ring is beer coated..interresting)..
