31 Oct 09 East Coast Park Outing!

  • Nov. 3rd, 2009 at 10:59 PM

It’s Halloween last sat…but not like I celebrated it..haha. Been planning an outing with my colleagues for some time. And coincidentally, the day we decided is Halloween.. and we shun bian celebrated KH’s 22nd bday!

We’ve brainstormed so many things to do… badminton, swimming, bbq, cycling, bowling…etc etc etc.. BUT the courts and bbq pits were all fully booked.. so we decided to cycle, dinner and bowl at ECP!

Had dance that day until about 5.30.. The rest have already arrived and started cycling at about 4.. by the time I arrived was already around 6..sadz.. couldn’t join them for cycling..  The weather was really bad that day… was raining cats and dogs and the rest got totally drenched while cycling… They were caught in the rain and stayed in Mei’s husband’s van.. Poor me..emo-ing at Lagoon for over one hour..haha. thank goodness my phone serve to be a perfect entertainment. But must say that it’s freezing cold then…

When the rest finally arrived, we dinner at Lagoon. Satay, orh-luah, stingray, kang kong, squid… were among the things we ordered. Hee..reminds me of the time we dined at chomp chomp on national day.

Then, it was Bowling time!

Mei’s husband drove us in his van. 4 of squeezed at the back of his van..we looked so much like illegal immigrants..hahaha. An kh was make to carry “the box”! (herald almost sat on it..yikes!)

Anw, must say that this is just the third time that I’ve bowled…and all my scores is won by luck.. throwed the ball without knowing any technique..and still managed to strike! =x think herald and kh must be laughing mad at me and ym.. hee.

The 2 guys were busy watching soccer during our game. Kh even “fly his friend’s aeroplane” cos he was suppose to meet his friends at 10 for another celebration when we started our game at 9+.. oops =x

me and ym

Must say that Mei’s kids are so adorable.. they’re so close to their parents.. feel shy in a really cute way.. the question of which gor gor is more handsome is so funny! haha. And we were stressing the point of gor gor and jie jie instead of aunty uncle.. bleah…

When it’s time to leave, we gathered at Mei’s van and started cam-whoring. Kh finally knowing the truth of “the box”!

We then started cake cutting in KH’s car before he drove all of us home. (eh my place was a bit out of way for them… thanks so much!) the cake cutting incident was quite humorous too… passer bys were staring into his car..guess it looked quite “murderous” when he pass us the cake using the knife..hee.

Wah..the route to my place was quite entertaining too..we made a big big loop cos of a wrong turn made.. saw an literally overturned car..

All in all it was a really great day.. so looking forward to the next outing with these bunch of ppl!

(the truth of “the box” … all his favorite food for him to enjoy during his 2 week break and for soccer watching…. All into the box we ‘kope’ from office =x) regret,. shld have made him open it in front of us..everyone wanted to see his expression..for such a ‘special’ gift..haha.

Was suppose to tag along with wg and friends for their Mooncake Festival Celebration at Henderson Wave. Turned out to be a Dance Outing instead! Had a super happening night on Sat indeed..haha.

Had usual ChaCha and Quickstep lessons followed by inter-Jive. Then, my dance friends who planned a Mooncake festival outing asked if we want to join them. Coincidentally, they wanted to go Vivocity for dinner! (the exact place we had in mind cos of Yw’s craving since last week..hee.) So the group of us proceeded to Vivo after dance for dinner at KG. Quite a big group of us.. Wg, Yw, me, pohyee, weisheng, Andrew, peizhi, juli, qinyao, changyao and junyi. We dined till about 8pm while waiting for juli to join us.

Then, wg yw and I decided to combine the 2 cliques gathering. We proceeded to join Zy, ck and joanne at Henderson Wave.  We spend a rather long time to get out of vivo..haha. Had to buy drinks from giant… failed attempt in getting snowskin mooncake…bidding farewell to py and Andrew who had something on… these 2 guys are replaced by 2 ladies Hoa and thao who joined us after their cha cha technique class… long story..hahah.

Finally, still the 11 of us cabbed to Henderson road in 3 cabs. Surprisingly, the last cab with me, ws, hoa and pz reached much much earlier than the earlier cab that left. Imagine the cab fare more than doubled for their cab..

Anw, we climbed up the long intimidating flight of stairs up to Henderson Wave.  I must say that the view up there is fantastic!! Wow..didn’t know such a wonderful place existed in spore.. I wanna complete the southern ridge walk some day! Anybody interested in the walk call me k? haha.

We lit up some lanterns attempting to carry them over, but the candles get burn out quickly. And guess what, none of us have cameras so we had to depend on hp cams..haha. hmm..and low batt ones some more…oops =x (photos taken here are pending from jy and qy...)

Finally, we met up with zy and gang..  Had an ultra fun time!!

Some of the crazy things we did…

- Dancing on the bridge barefooted while enjoying the scenery, the nice cooling wind, the company, etc etc. Too bad what was suppose to be the century’s brightest moon was obscured by clouds..

- Jy helping the singles to fortune tell love life with a stack of new poker cards..hahah.

- Playing card games like new version of “heart attack” (with trading system and 5 levels of dumbness)

- Playing tapping hands game at 2+am with forfeits. Haha..thao’s forfeit of asking a group of strangers what is the time with her watch on, hoa’s crane pose, zy’s “kissing” of Kenneth, ws’s “kissing” of bench?... really crazy things when the mind is not working at this time of the night..hahaha.

Oh and not to forget the sparklers! We had to blow out the lanterns by order of the guard but noone stop us from the sparklers though.

We had numerous attempts to form “we were here!” And here's the best shot.. Note the Funny E we have from ws..keke. in case anyone is wondering, he didn't do it on purpose.haha but turned out quite artistic with it thou..hee.

Here is another shot after ws realise his interesting E..hehe.

- We had a toilet break where me, wg, yw, ck, joanne and thao tried to find our way to the nearest toilet which turned out to be at Mt faber! Gosh the toilet there is magnificient! Imagine aquarium in a toilet with sofa and basins which reminds me of that in HP chamber of secrets..hee.

Anw shared cab home with juli and cy who live in hougang.. reached home around 3.30am by then… Ultra tired le…

Sunday was another day of dance!! Super tiring sia.. insufficient sleep plus strainous exercise..haha. but still shiok!

Last Weekend...

  • Oct. 2nd, 2009 at 12:33 AM

Dance Dance Dance for the weekend… la la la~

Had cha cha and quickstep followed by jive continuously one after the other… feel so shiok! Didn’t have the chance to stay back for prac cos the studio was used for private classes.. So guang yw and i had dinner at the hawker centre near the studio. Yw told me that they plan to go shopping at g2000 cos their friend have a discount voucher for use. So I decided to tag along..haha.

We cabbed and met their friends ck and ck’s gf joanne at tampines. Zy and his friend arrived soon after. Then, we were told that g2000 men have closed and the only g2000 ladies is left at tampines. Opps…considering the fact that we have boys and girls, we had to change venue. 5 of us took the train to vivocity while zy and his friend drove the van home before meeting us at vivo.

The 4 guys really man3 zai4 er2 gui1..haha. but they really had a great bargain considering all items were at half price. By the time we finished shopping, it was already 9+. 3 of us accompanied the remaining 4 of them who have not eaten to KG for dinner. Meanwhile yw and guang went to shop for mooncakes. Yw loved the food so much that she is determined to come back for a try..haha.

We then went to the top level for a place to sit and split the goods. Had a long long chat as they planned for their mooncake fes celebration.

Sunday was another day of dance… cha cha and quickstep followed by paso.. hahah. It’s really straining.. but satisfying! Paso especially is super taxing on back muscle.. think if not for ballet training, wun be so lucky to escape the aches…hee.

The countings are ringing in my mind… 1, TWO, cha cha cha………… slow slow quick quick slow…… one, two, a three a four a three a four………… 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8……………….. four kinds of countings for 4 diff dances….

Anw it’s another day of dance tml! Yay!

2 blogs in a row..haha maybe too free today..haha.

My 2nd Department dinner with TOP! This time at Ellenborough..Swissotel..jus yesterday =) had a scrumptious spread of international buffet!

Everyone seems to be working at top speed that day cos our booking starts at 6.30pm. the guys and forex section ended work earlier and made their way there first..

Hmm..the rest of us made our way there ard 7.30? was suppose to be able to make it earlier if not for the thing that happened last min..argh..though its not yet solved =(

Attendance was quite good..18 out of 22..cos 4 ppl were on leave tht day..

I love the durian pengget thingy!! (pardon the spelling) the Crayfish.. the Sharks fin.. the sushi.. the kueh pieti.. apple crumble pie… apple rojak… salad spread… etc etc etc… heavenly..despite the fact that the food is not really very very fantastic..but is really great with the company and choice..

Cam-whoring was super duper funny!! with our official photographer..LS..haha. Haven laughed so much since perhaps my days in IJ? Keke.

Had 4 jugs of margarita at café iguana.. playing zhong ji mi ma the entire time.. keke and the stakes got higher each time… from drinking one sip to half a cup… from drinking from the cup to drinking from the straw to drinking from many many straws! Hahaha. LS got so high that she can’t even count anymore..haha. Some of the random shots taken here..

Loved my 23rd bday celebration with the gals at Epicurious that night! Unforgettable day..

“emo-ing” at Central while waiting..cos I din see shan’s msg until 6...Hee..never tried this before.. And the long long walk down from Clarke quay to Robertson quay in search for the restaurant while trying to look for a carpark for bern..hahah. But must say that the food was quite good! Photos are pending from bern though.. =p

It’s so funny for me and ek to write a card to each other in front of each other..hahah. Oh and of cos the cam-whoring was ultra fun too!

Really appreciate the effort of the gals! So sweet of them! *Hugszz* 10 years of friendship is really nan2 de2.. something which must definitely be treasured..

On the actual Day.. reported to work as usual.. argh.. as I mentioned…can’t take leave on the first day of the month =x

Went for lunch with guang at 12 that day.. but when I return to office, got a little surprise! saw an apple strudel treat on my desk.. yup and nobody wanted to tell me who gave it to me.. claiming that it’s a “secret admirer”..

Then, I went to the loo and when I return, a packet of Famous Amos “appeared” on my desk! Haha. Yup and again nobody could or wanted to tell me who gave it..

Managed to guess though and it turned out right! Thanks kh and zw! =)

Ended work ard 7+ that day and make my way to Grassroot for dinner with my family =)

So funny..my friends asked what i wanted for my birthday..hee cos they realise i dun need clothes and bags this year..think ang bao will be a great choice looking at how broke i am now =x

NaTioNaL DaY Outing 2009!

  • Aug. 10th, 2009 at 8:14 PM

The long awaited long weekend! Wow! had a happening National Day.. though not at the floating platform..hee. Can’t believe the number of things we did and places we went to in one night. The places we went to formed the “first time” for so many of us..haha.

4.30 we met at Iluma..my first time steeping into Iluma. And yup guess what..our dear organizer Kok Hwee (the one who stressed the point that late comers will give treat) was late..hee. Zhong Wei and I ended up touring Iluma from the 1st floor right up to the 7th floor and even had time to squeeze ourselves through the crowd at Bugis Village for a bite..haha.

About 5+, KH reached with Yu Min and we started shopping around Bugis Junction while waiting for Melvin to join us.

Then KH drove us to Chomp Chomp for dinner. This is KH and YM’s first time at chomp chomp..hehe. Stingray, kang kong, Popiah, chicken wing, OrAhJian, Hokkien Mee, Satay…are among the things we ordered. Guess what everything we ordered has chilli and I’m having sore throat..oops :x But of cos I continued eating.. drowned myself with so much sugar cane..hee. Wah the wasabi popiah is killer..first time trying cheese popiah too..

We were quite lucky to find seats actually..5 of us in 8-seater seats. Initally we had live broadcast of NDP cos the family sitted behind us had a mobile tv with them.. but they left soon after. There was also this crazy aunty who went around sitting at everyone’s table and she accidentally dirtied KH’s shirt.

We wanted to drive to Marina to view the fireworks after dinner. But by 8.22pm, the time when the pledge was taken, we were only along CTE. And along the way we could see flashes of red light in the sky and that was when we knew we were too late.

Hence, we went to this Tow Huay stall at Selegie. Funny incident..an aunty help us find a seat along the road and she also recommended sitting upstairs. We went up but found it too noisy cos of C ppl..So we went down instead.  After we all sat down, we discovered nobody actually felt like eating!! Hahah. Gosh we were all too full then..so we went back into the car..haha. The aunty must be thinking we’re weird ppl..but those waiting for seats must be so happy that we left..heh. But this forms the first time for YM experience at this stall.

Then as KH continued driving, we were all thinking of where to go after that. He was driving aimlessly actually and we somehow ended ourselves in town. So, we decided for a movie. We parked at Plaza Singapura and made our way to GV. Actually we had no movies in mind to watch.. it was either UP 3D, GI Joe or this Zye ting feng yun show that we could think of.. The tickets were either all sold out or selling fast then and we were only left with first row or first 4 rows seats.

So we proceeded to The Cathay. We finally decided to watch GI Joe..even though we had to take the 2nd row. Thank goodness the theatre was large and we didn’t strain our neck..haha. but not sure is it because of the fact that we were seated too near the screen that we could see fire fire fire all the way and not feel too much of the effects.

After the movie, it was already 11.30. Next we decided to go to Yishun Dam. According to KH it’s this road that separates the reservoir from the sea. Wah we went the wrong way and took one huge round..from CTE SLE drove up to Eunos AMK back to yishun..haha. Anw it’s the first time for everyone other than KH here. Thought we could see races going on but there was only a little of it going on..

Here’s our one and only photo taken during the entire day at the dam.. (the white thing u see is actually the top of KH's car)

Finally around 1+ it was Supper at Jalan Kayu. Roti Prata, Roti John, Mee Goreng Pettaya… sinful sinful..haha.

And thanks KH for driving us home! :)

First Roller Blading Experience!

  • Jul. 31st, 2009 at 11:08 PM

Another exciting Dance Outing! I’m so happy to meet this group of ppl..sociable and easy-to-mix-around-with guys and gals. This time it’s at ECP!

Happening day..it’s my first attempt in roller blading! 12 people in all..and let me introduce the teams..

Blading team: Andrew Li, Zhongyi, Me, Qinyao, Thao, Weiguang, Yuwen

(First time bladders à Me, Qinyao, Thao)

Cycling team: Poh yee, Weisheng, Andrew Teo, Peizhi, Siying.

Before going on to the event of the day, there’re really funny incidents along the way. Imagine we spent 2 hours to get to east coast from bedok mrt.

Me, Andrew, Siying, Thao, Weisheng met at the bedok mrt at 10.45am though all the gals arrive at 10.30am..haha. Then we decided to wait for Pohyee too since he’s just 2 stops away.. Oh we spent really long waiting for bus 40 at the interchange thinking it’ll reach ECP. Camwhored along the way..haha.

It was only until we discovered the journey seems a bit too long to be realistic that we checked with the uncle and realized we should have taken 401 instead of 40! Haha.

Having alighted from 40, we decided not to wait for 401 but walk to ECP because the next bus comes in 30 min. But jus when we started walking off the bus stop, 401 drove right pass us!! Hahaha. Then we decided to wait for the next 401 instead of taking bus 13 and walk 10 min.. this was the killer waiting time! It’s already 12 by now..

Finally the long awaited 401 us here but that’s not all..we didn’t know which stop to alight.. Supose to alight at Mac..so when PY told us to alight because he saw the Mac sign, we almost did. but guess what he saw? The Mac Advertisement at the bus stop!hahaha.

When we finally arrived, we had our lunch at Hong Kong Café and this was when the other Andrew joined us. Poor QY and PZ had been waiting for an hour in the café for us.

Yup going on to the main event…

The first time bladders are really struggling hard. From the point of putting on the shoes to walking to the practice ring was so comical! I had to hold to Peizhi desperately. As WG, ZY and YW only reached at about 1.30, the only person who knows how to blade is Andrew and he has to coach all 3 of us..hahah.

First group pic (3 ppl missing though)

Had hard time balancing and I still can’t brake..oopsz =X.

When the remaining 3 of them arrive, we decided to go out blading. And this is where all my “real” “adventure” begins. Had trouble balancing and I keep falling. Especially down the hump. It was a hard fall on my tailbone..ouch!

While continuing blading, Andrew suggested the first timers to hold on to the cyclers. Poor WS’s bag..haha. Keep ‘lang-ga-ing’ to him when he brakes. Tried holding onto PY’s shoulders but the same thing occurs too. Haha. I’m so tempted to wear ZY’s slippers back.

Our one and only full group pic when all arrived FInally^

Finally decided to hold on to YW’s hands. Funny incident of trying to avoid clashing into a little boy and we sacrificed and fell. Helpless wg was looking at the back..hee.

Finally we walk to parkway parade after resting at BK and had our dinner at swensens.

Wala Wala Night Out 17 July 2009

  • Jul. 27th, 2009 at 10:42 PM

It’s Friday night! Went out for drinking session with my colleagues. We tried to make it a department outing..but guess it’s tough since most people have family commitments. Still it was a fun night out!

Enjoyed the Chicken and ham pizza and Chicken wings! Haha. perhaps we were all too hungry. Especially when the rest had to wait for me and yumin who usually had to end work later. Then it was the serve of drinks while we chat and immerse ourselves in the live and music.

that's us

our drinks

But still, Herald was hungry and Simin wanted something cheesy. Haha and so he ordered this Walapenos which nobody had a single idea of what that was. Omg..we spent $9 torturing ourselves. It’s this deep fried this wrapped in cream cheese and CHILLI! Argh! Hot!  Ended up playing Zhong Ji Mi Ma. Sian..i had to eat this creepy thing twice and Yumin had to eat it thrice. Eeks! Kok Hwee, Mei and her husband charles had one try each. Haha.

what was left after zhong ji mi ma

Hmm..then sm got dizzy and started vomiting and kh helped to get her parents to send her home. By then Mei and charles also left while the rest of us continued our drinking session.

Sian..had to cab home alone cos the remaining 3 of them all live in the East! Haha.

Da ViNci & SeA MonSterS

  • Jul. 20th, 2009 at 11:30 PM

Finally went to the Da Vinci the Genius @Science centre! The entire exhibition is so cool! I’ve friends telling me that it’s boring but the entire group of us begs to differ. It’s definitely an eye opener to his impressive inventions such as war craft machineries and many ideas, sketches and models which led to the creation of many modern day equipments. Never knew there’s so much to know about Mona Lisa too! At least now I know why the Mona Lisa is so carefully protected at the Musee du Lourve when I went last year.

Went to this exhibition with a few of my dance mates and their friends. (Attendees: Weiguang, Yuwen, Zhongyi, John, Hua Jing, Thao, Sashita, Tian). Hmm..the photos are still with John so can’t upload at this moment.

We met at 2.45pm at Jurong East mrt because we didn’t know that the ticket actually encompass the visit to the entire science centre! Wow..haven’t been to Science centre since perhaps secondary school? Haha. SO much has changed. Haha we’re all so fascinated with the scientific exhibition near the entrance hall..amused with so many things..hee. Too bad we didn’t have enough time to tour the entire place because the Da Vinci closes at 6pm.

We only had about 2 hours in the exhibition which we all thought was not enough at all. But we had no choice.

Then after which was Sea Monster at Omnimax theatre! Well was quite disappointed in this show..considering Weiguang and Yuwen actually slept during the show..hee. Darn..should have caught the VanGogh instead. Heard it was good.

Went for dinner at Jurong east coffee shop for chicken chop! Hehe.

Suddenly have so much to update..shall post up the next entry soon =)

Dance Competition and A Day's Leave to Temple

  • Jun. 22nd, 2009 at 10:57 PM

Went to watch my frens’ dance competition yesterday. This was my first time watching a dancesport event. No doubt the ticket is expensive, but think it’s worth it to support my frens’ first competition.

Omg.. it’s really an eye opening experience! The little kids who look so cute dance ultra well! Super powerful and distinct in their steps. The elderly group were truly admirable and too..their spirit is really commendable.

ZH and Michelle is super outstanding..championed all the pre-beginners’ segment they entered. WG and XN are really good too! Imagine getting 2nd for a dance that he has only spend less than 5 lessons in. Gosh..feel so happy for them. Bet teacher must be exhilarated too. His pre-beginners’ team sent swept up all the top 3 prizes in so many dances!

It was an enriching and memorable experience even for those who did not manage to clinch awards this round. They’ve put in so much effort and time on dance. Can really see tremendous improvements.

After the competition, went for dinner with ZY, WG and YW at Northpoint. Ate at the Japanese restaurant in the new wing.. yum yum..the food is delicious!

It feels so good to be on a day’s leave today. Everyone thought I was planning to spend bonus today..hee. But actually took leave because I woke up at 5am today to watch daddy’s temple ceremony..haha. Will be too ‘seh’ to go for work. This ceremony which is held once every 10 years so it’s worth a watch.

Drove sis to work when we reached home before we go for breakfast at Maxwell.

Work and OT

  • Jun. 21st, 2009 at 12:53 AM

There’s this new system that is going to roll out in my company in a year to two. This apparently big project has resulted in me claiming consecutive days of OTs for the last week. Sian..Missed my dance class on fri all because of it. Boss has been going to big and small meetings for the bulk of the day for the entire week. Had to wait for her to be back and perform all the approvals before I can continue and my job and leave office..Haiz.

Working life can be really scary. A mistake can cause countless “interrogations” as if you are a criminal. And the “taiji” playing commences. Dun ever fall into this situation!

Had an experience which totally freak me out. Made quite a serious mistake at work but thank goodness it’s all settled! I dun want to sit through interrogations! 1 important lesson learn – It’s ok to make mistakes but make them at the Right Time and Right situations. Always learn from your mistakes and never repeat them!

Looking forward to watching my frens’ competition tml.. just learn today that they are competing against South East Asia competitors with rich competing experiences. Jia you guys!

PC show & Movie Treat :)

  • Jun. 13th, 2009 at 11:37 PM

Took my 2nd half day yesterday to go PC show..haha. Gosh! Thought it would be all right to go on a weekday afternoon but it’s already ultra crowded! Talk about economic downturn..haha. Bet the crowd will be so much worse today and tml.. Finally bought my external harddisk at quite a good bargain..hee.

Went for a free movie at Suntec this morning. Hee..thanks to jiejie who manage to bid for her company tix..Night at the Museum 2!! Haha. It’s super funny! Really enjoyed it.  The cupids are so cute..haha.

Lunch at Ichiban Boshi after that with sis’s friends after the movie..went shopping around at suntec before going for dance lessons in late afternoon =)

There’s a chinese saying  戏如人生 and it’s really true. After getting to learn about my fren’s family life, I really learn the importance of treasuring my family. The little quarrellings is nothing compared to the family life of many others. What seems to be a complete family may not always be a happy one.

We saw her crying in front of boss and for a while we thought “someone” scolded her again. However, boss revealed that it was actually her family problem. Apparently, I learnt from my colleague that this is not the first time such quarrels occurred. She totally scared the hell out of us by saying we’ll know the main reason if she were to commit suicide. Can’t imagine the stress that she must be facing living with them…with such a family, I will really consider moving out.. Sometimes, it is necessary to get these people to learn…to know the true meaning of independence, respect, love…. But I must say that she’s a strong woman..

New Classes and MoTheRs' Day!

  • May. 10th, 2009 at 12:13 AM

Was rushing to complete work early so that I can be in time for dance on fri night…so no choice gotta go office earlier on mon morning to continue checking…

It’s no joke dancing Samba right after Jive! Tiring but super SHIOK! Love dancing..a fantastic way to de-stress and spend the weekend.. Had my first Tango and Jive lesson today! Tried my best to keep up with the pace in jive..it seems like a dance which involves running with a tempo..hee. maybe it’s just that i’m still trying hard to get the hang of being in time with the super fast tempo..

It feels really good to dance in an empty studio..stayed back after class to practice..and by then my legs dun feel like they are mine anymore.. Starting to feel my body aching.. shouldn’t have stop dancing for 1 month.. now must restart the “engine”..haha.

Celebrated Mothers’ Day today too! Dabao great food home! Had delicious butter crabs soaked in buttery sauce, stir fried deer meat, Satay, kang kong, deep fried baos to immerse in the butter crab sauce, xian2 yu2 chao3 fan4……….etc etc, (thinking back and drooling*), enjoying the meal in front of our new huge TV..

I can’t believe it! Got another of “that” again! Argh!!!!

Now I truly+seriously gained a deep understanding of how and why some ppl get irritated with somebody….biased, naggy, stubborn freak!! Dun understand why do they make such a big fuss over that small minor thing…

Guess I’m just trying to find a way to vent my frustration and blogging is definitely a great avenue. Was really boiling with anger at that point in time especially because of the nags…which definitely nobody can stand! I bet even parents dun nag like that. Must really thank my friends who are so nice, talking about interesting topics which made me feel much better after that incident.

Enough of grumblings… must think about fun things to brighten the days…

And Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii is definitely one of them! Played Wii on Sun with my fellow GTs and some of their other parts… had great fun!

Haha discovered our Wii fitness age…and apparently the “youngest” of all is 36 yrs! Hee. And guess what? We even have “senior citizens” who are 72 and 71! Hahahaha.

To think I was afraid that we will be bored of waiting for our turn to wii cos we only have 2 controllers for so many of us. We din even touch the monopoly and Uno. Ended up partying actually. Hehe cos we have food contributions… fried bee hoon, popcorn, chicken wings, chocolates, potato chips… yummy yummy… and it’s so fun looking at everyone playing the funny party games!

Oh and dance dance dance coming back on fri =) yippie!

Grumbles

I dunno what made me said all that that day...now that I think back..it must have sounded so dumb… maybe it's cos i feel so sian after making so many careless mistakes at work these few days...just feel like grumbling..

What was I thinking..actually gave wrong details to my boss with such affirmation…

And got a “summon” lah ..super irritated.. now I know why some ppl get irritated with somebody..

Been having a stupid flu for the past few days..the word ‘flu’ must be sounding so sensitive these days.. Have seen the company doc alr.. but imagine being in a icy cold room and then out in the blazing hot weather everyday.. how is it possible to get better? This holiday jus came at the right time! A good time to rest, recover and get ready for the starting-of-the-month battle! Starting to get better after today's rest le..haha.

Something to look forward to.. Sunday’s Wii^! Can't wait for dance to resume too!

Last Last Sat (11April) was a very special one indeed. It’s the first time I witness a proposal! Haha and it’s so fun to be a ‘partner in crime’..hee..Bringing out the roses and balloons at the end of a beautiful waltz danced by a blissful couple after the mini-comp.. The 2 of them are so sweet!

Last Sat was an enjoyable one too! There were no dance lessons that day but we went down to the studio for practice. Wow must say that it’s an absolutely hot day..can still feel the heat in the air conditioned dance studio.. It’s so fun dancing there like nobody’s business..haha. we did like hundreds of whiz, voltas and botas..hahah..great workout! Never knew it could be that tiring..

After lessons, went Bedok for KTV with guang, da sao, zy and ck, another fren of theirs.. We checked out the new ‘Cash Studio’ there..must say that their sound system is not bad at all.. my 2nd KTV session this year..hahah.

Picnic @ Botanic Garden! =)

  • Apr. 6th, 2009 at 11:49 PM

Last Sunday went for the long awaited PICNIC @ Botanic Garden with my IJ Besties! ‘Flew’ there directly after dance lessons.. Got worried looking at the weather for it was raining cats and dogs! Thank goodness the rain gradually stopped by the time I arrived..

hahah think this is the 1st time I went to Botanic garden from what I remember though I may have gone there when I was young.. haha. Funny incident of ek, bern and geri trying to lead me to the right place over the phone..hee. But anw managed to find the stage eventually.

Though the stage is a perfect picnic ground! Away from the wet ground that can wet the mats.. and a nice view indeed. However, we were chased off by the officers on patrol..apparently the stage was out of bounce..(not our fault thou..the gate to it was open!)

But we found a great ground to picnic..and really enjoyed our time! Cam-whoring to the max cos we have our ‘professional’ camera girl…hz!  Haha listening to the stories of ek was hilarious too..and will never forget the poncho-garbage bag incident..hee.
